Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-10-22

We care about your privacy. This page explains what information this site collects when you browse it, how it is used, and how it is protected.

What we collect

When you read a post or page, this site records the page and time of the visit, the referring page, your IP address (used to estimate your province/city and ISP; it is partially masked in the admin console), your browser User-Agent (used to identify your operating system and browser), and a browser fingerprint hash computed from basic information such as screen resolution, language and time zone. We do not use invasive techniques such as Canvas or WebGL fingerprinting. If you are signed in, visits are linked to your account.

Cookies

This site stores a cookie named nb_vid in your browser for one year, used only to recognize repeat visits from the same browser. Sign-in cookies are used only to keep you signed in. You can clear these cookies in your browser settings at any time.

How we use it

This information is used only by the site owner to understand how the blog is visited, such as post popularity, traffic sources and regional distribution. It is never sold or shared with third parties and is not used for advertising. IP locations are resolved on this site’s server with an offline database; for IPv6 addresses, the address may be sent to a third-party IP location service when no offline database is configured.

Retention

Visit records are kept for 90 days by default and are deleted automatically afterwards.

Do Not Track

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control (GPC), this site only records an anonymous visit (the page, time, approximate region and browser type). It does not store your IP address or User-Agent, does not set the visitor cookie, and does not compute a browser fingerprint.

Contact

If you have questions about this policy or would like visit records related to you deleted, please contact the site owner using the contact details published on this site.
